Fpl Hiring – Dev Ops Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with software developers, system operators and other IT staff to build CICD pipelines and manage software deployments. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing and operations teams while keeping existing network and company-specific policies in mind as they work with Agile Teams to design and implement automated code releases and deployment pipelines. The candidate will assist in the modernization of disaster recovery methods. They will also have experience with GitHub and Jenkins. Experience working with Agile software development is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors system development and maintenance and ensures that staff at all technical levels are informed of the health of our systems
• Improves the product environment and practices used by the software developers
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Continually evaluates Operation teams processes and automates repetitive and temporary solutions
• Supports the continuous integration services maintenance and configuration and keeps the build environment for the software developers working well
• Maintains and creates automatic deployment of software builds to test and production environments and enables the operations team to easily and consistently deploy software developed by the  new products teams

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience: 3+ years
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
